All rooms and suites have spectacular ocean views at the four-diamond Tides, which faces Lummus Park and the Atlantic Ocean. This striking property is completely contemporary, sedate and sumptuous. The hotel’s original 115 rooms were reconfigured to create 45 spacious rooms and suites, complete with king- or queen-size beds, cable TV, lines for fax/modems, custom-stocked mini-bars, plush bath robes, Aveda bath products, and a telescope to better enjoy the stunning surroundings. A freshwater pool with a poolside bar, an outdoor exercise area, meeting space, and a gift shop are available. The Terrace Restaurant on the hotel’s front porch offers al-fresco dining and people-watching overlooking trendy Ocean Drive for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
